Doctors are always saying you need to see a therapist along with medication for things to really work. For my this is a myth. Yeah it’s nice talking to someone biased but at the same time it’s a little annoying. I feel like I repeat myself all the time and I’m not really getting anything out of it.
Now don’t get me wrong it works for some people. It helps people. For me in the short days I’ve had this blog I’ve felt so much better about things. (It could also be a new medicine that got added that aiding into it too). 😂 You do you. You know what works best for you and go with it. Soar with it and don’t let go.
Everyone needs their outlit and doing something illegal is probably normally frowned upon. I know this blog is super short but that’s my thoughts on therapy.
I’ve had my good and bad experiences. High school I had my counselor tell my mom everything we talked about. I felt betrayed and sorry mom, but she got mad at me for saying the things I did. To me I don’t feel she should have said anything. I didn’t even say I wanted to harm myself. I’ll get into this story in a later blog when I talk about an amazing teacher who truely noticed something wasn’t right with me my senior year of high school.
